K-Town SBK (Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba) is a full weekend of workshops, performances, and social dancing located in beautiful Kelowna BC. Three days of workshops, social dancing and of course the main event Saturday night’s stunning Black & White Formal Gala hosted at the Laurel Packing House.

Choose to participate in the full weekend including over 16hrs of workshops, Saturday night Performances, and 14hrs plus of Social dancing or pick select portions to attend. Whatever you choose know that there will be more dancing than you can shake your booty at!

— Julie Girard —
Montreal – Dominican Bachata

Since a young age Julie has trained in multiple different dance styles including jazz, modern, contemporary, and more. In 2009, while working in Dominican Republic, she fell in love with bachata. Since then, Julie shares her passion both locally in Montreal and internationally all over the world.

Known for her crazy Bachata Shines and Footwork Julie brings so much passion, energy and enthusiasm to her workshops you can’t help but have fun.

Julie has danced for the Dominican Republic Tourism Office in Montreal, performing in many events and visits the Dominican Republic frequently to stay up to date on the authentic techniques of local dancers. In 2017, she founded TIPICA, to specialize even more in traditional Bachata, offering classes in Montreal, while organizing Dominican events and social dances weekly.

— Patrick and Scarlet —
Vancouver – Salsa

Patrick and Scarlet are three-time Canadian Salsa Champions, US Open Salsa Champions and multi-time world medalists. Scarlet is also the 2018 Same Gender Shines World Champion.

As instructors Patrick and Scarlet are known for their light-hearted, crystal clear instruction and ability to produce elite-level social dancers, performers, and competitors. In fact, several of their students hold Canadian and World amateur titles.

Montreal – Kizomba, Semba, Urban Kiz

Babs hails from Montreal, the Kiz capital of Canada, and incorporates a wealth of knowledge in a multitude of styles including Kizomba, Semba, and Urban-Kiz into all his classes. Constantly travelling and teaching all across North America Babs brings fun instruction to everything he does.
